CEAR Soaring in first Quarter
Today, 17 May 2019, CEAR had its first Press Conference of the year to share with the media and public its 2019 first quarter results.
Held at Heritage by Serendib Hotel in Limbe, Blantyre, CEAR announced that it has moved 96,801 tons of cargo in the first three months of the year, beating its projected budget of 89, 500 tons. In the same months, CEAR moved 54, 611 passengers, a feat above the planned 45, 000 passengers.
The general cargo generated an income of $ 1,364, 000 million while the passenger section raked in $ 57,023.
